Trunyan Village, Bali
Trunyan village situated on the edge of lake Batur, Kintamani, Bangli District. Trunyan village is very isolated which located on the east lip of Lake Batur. To reach this place you must pass through several different fields. First, the road from Penelokan, Kintamani, just arrived in the Kedisan village. From the Kedisan to Trunyan village you have to cross the lake Batur for 45 minutes by motorboat or 2 hours by boat with an oar-driven mortar. Around the lake by boat is very pleasant.
Trunyan village inhabited by people of Bali Aga who is a native of Bali before the arrival of Mahapahit. Near Trunyan, there is a place with a name Kuban, where there are complex Ingestion Bali Aga people that can only be reached by motor boat. Trunyan society has two kinds of techniques to bury people, namely mepasah or put the corpse on the ground, beneath the open air. The people who are buried in mepasah way are those who at the time of death of those who have been married, people who are still single and young children are milk teeth have been dated. Then, the second way is to be buried or interred. The people who are buried after death are those who have a disability or at death there are wounds that have not healed the patient’s body such as smallpox, leprosy, and others.People who die unnatural as killed or commit suicide are also buried. Young children who have milk teeth are also buried at the date of death.
Eve Trunyan village air is very cool, temperatures average 17 degrees Celsius and can even go down to 12 degrees Celsius. Lake Batur with a length of 9 km and a width of 5 km is one source of water and agrarian livelihoods in southern and eastern Bali.
Trunyan Village is one of the tourist village in Bali that you must visit while vacationing on the island of Bali.
